The idea here is to chronicle the happenings around the West Chelsea and Hudson Yards area—and maybe occasionally bring people together.

We’d like to get to a point where people write in with updates and we can gather the collective knowledge of a vibrant and growing neighborhood in one place. We’re not trying to change the world here or even the block; we’re just trying to appreciate the little things.

This is a project I started about five years ago (if you’ve been around the block that long and/or feel like scrolling all the way back) which I put down for a while. Thank you to Leslie Boghosian Murphy, the chair of our community board (Community Board 4), for encouraging us to fire this back up.
