Vacancies, tree pits, Madman Espresso, ever-changing graffiti, Myron Bolitar
Weekly updates linked below. First, we want to thank two members of the Chelsea Garden Club, Luis and Milton, for caring for some of our block tree pits for the last year; we had reported two weeks ago that the Horticultural Society of New York was responsible for the beautification, and it turns out that was only partially true. Thanks also to those of you who wrote in about this, including Phyllis.
Second, we’re going to start digging into the vacant lots and spaces around our block. Let us know if you have ideas or information on any of the lots.
Third, block-favorite Qanoon on 21st & 9th is currently running a restaurant week prix fixe menu. Do whatever you want next week but get the Palestinian gnocchi to start. Trust us on this.
