Comic Con back at convention center

North America’s (and this block’s) most attended fan convention, Comic Con, is back this year at our very own the Javits Center. Running from October 8 - October 11, 2026, the convention celebrates comic books, graphic novels, and the like, and approximately 250,000 people were expected to attend this year. See this year’s gallery, featuring Captain Jack Sparrow (among others), compiled by one of our very best investigative photojournalists here.

The event is technically about the organized comic book-specific “stations” at Javits where you can wander from station to station and find whatever comic books or figurines or trinkets that you’re into; for us though, it is about the ghostbusters and power rangers and catwomen who descend upon our block year after year. Happy to have you all back next year.
