Empty lot on 29th Street between 10th & 11th sold for $33.5m to residential real estate developer
We see construction activity at the empty lot on 29th Street between 10th & 11th. Once upon a time (2024), this lot was slated for development by a hospitality group called PPHE, and the idea was to build an “art-inspired mixed used hotel and condominium building.” That stalled for years, and in March 2026, real estate papers announced that PPHE had sold the property to a luxury residential real estate developer called T&E. T&E has developed other residential buildings like The Florian in Gramercy and Fifty One Domino in Williamsburg, and you can use those projects as data points for what their project in our neighborhood is likely to look like.
We’ve reached out to T&E to get more details on timeline, plans, etc. and will keep the block updated.
