The space pictured here on 35th Street & 9th Avenue is currently in its caterpillar phase but things are soon about to bloom and blossom. The owners of Zoob Zib, a Thai noodle spot that is literally one storefront away from this space, are about to open Kham Koon, which bills itself as “an authentic blend of Thai, Vietnamese and Laos cuisine.”
No news yet on the menu or expected opening, but we love the doubling down on our neighborhood. Stay tuned, and the message for you, dear reader, is to go ahead and sign the lease on the apartment next door, too.
